The Ram 1500 comes with a powerful engine under the hood and an impressive amount of standard features that help to make the truck more versatile and practical. If you have been looking for a tough and dependable truck, the Ram 1500 just may be the perfect choice for you. The Ram 1500 is impressive; however, it is not in a class of its own. One of the other popular trucks in its class is the Ford F-150. These two trucks have some similarities, but also offer their own unique features. To better help you decide which truck would be a better fit for you, here is a look at how the 2022 Ram 1500 compares to the 2022 Ford F-150.

Exterior Design

The Ram 1500 features an exterior design that makes the truck both strong and efficient. The sleek and sculpted body sits on top of a high-strength steel ladder-type frame that is both durable and lightweight. The 1500 also comes with an advanced suspension system in the front that features a coil-over-shock design. In the rear, there is a five-link progressive-rate coil suspension that provides optimal performance and control when hauling heavy loads. The Ford F-150 features a stylish body that is made from military-grade high-strength aluminum. The durable body sits on top of a fully boxed steel frame. While this design does help to make the truck more durable. The body and frame do not provide more durability than the 1500 offers. Additionally, the F-150's design is both heavy and bulky.

Interior Comfort

The Ram 1500 has one of the most luxurious and versatile interiors in its class. The interior was also specifically designed to ensure that all occupants are able to be comfortable on long road trips. The rear seats offer enough legroom and headspace that up to three adults can comfortably sit in them. The 1500 is also the only truck in its class to offer available heated and ventilated seats on the rear. To add another level of comfort to the rear-seat passengers, the second-row seat is also able to recline. Like the Ram 1500, the F-150 offers available heated front seats. However, it does not offer available heated and ventilated back seats. Also, the F-150's cabin feels more cramped and crowded when adults sit in the second-row seats.
